GIFT STEWARDSHIP
Carriers of the gift.
Accountable to the purpose.
Our commitment is to serve Christ faithfully and carry aid-designated provision to the people and needs for which it is entrusted.
Aid gifts and operating costs
Our commitment is that every dollar designated for aid remains assigned to aid. We seek separate provision for operating costs, processing fees, and delivery support. Donors may choose to help cover transaction costs; this is optional. We cover those costs ourselves whenever resources allow.
Costs do not become zero because we seek donated support. The financial record should show the gross gift, any known fees, separate fee support, aid provided, delivery costs, and aid obligations still awaiting distribution. Any unfunded fee or operating shortfall is to be shown rather than silently deducted from the aid commitment.
Purpose and discretion
Gifts must be consistent with our Christian convictions and the corporation’s religious and charitable purposes. Victory Works retains the responsibility and discretion required to steward its resources. We discuss unusual gifts and proposed restrictions before accepting them. A suggested need is not a guarantee that a particular transfer or distribution will occur.
Verified provision
We distinguish a need, an approved use, a shipment, a confirmed receipt, and final distribution. Financial records and delivery records should support completed claims. We do not disclose private beneficiaries or imply that live counter changes prove a person has received aid.
Questions or corrections
If a gift appears incorrect or a question arises about its intended use, contact the ministry promptly. We will review the records and explain the appropriate process. This website does not promise a refund outside the applicable organizational and processor arrangements.
